Yvonne Christine is a multidisciplinary artist and educator whose practice centers on alternative photographic processes, material exploration, and sustained collaboration with natural systems. Working with anthotypes, cyanotypes, and spore prints, her work investigates cycles of transformation, memory, and place through time-based and process-driven methods. She holds an MFA in Creative Technologies and Practices and teaches at the University of West Florida. Her work often engages plant matter, fungi, and domestic materials, allowing nature to act as an active participant in the making of images.

Statement:
My work emerges through sustained collaboration with natural materials and place. Rather than depicting nature, I invite it to participate—using light, plant matter, fungi, and time as co-authors in the image-making process. I work through continued studies, allowing images to arrive slowly through exposure, contact, and repetition. Across anthotypes, spore prints, and cyanotypes, I am interested in cycles of transformation and the feminine as porous, cyclical, and unresolved—holding space for memory, labor, and becoming.
